Bryce Harper to Make MLB Debut Today

Bryce Harper has been called up to the big leagues and will make his Major League Debut today against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Washington nationals phenom dropped out of high school early, got his GED so that he could be drafted a year earlier. My brother lives a few streets over from the Harpers in Las Vegas and he knows them a little bit. He got this signed Sports Illustrated for me. Bryce seems to be somewhat of a polarizing figure right now. It'll be interesting to see how his career turns out.

  1. It should be interesting. Looking on Baseball-Reference.com I see he has a .953 fielding percentage as an outfielder so there could be some unhappy National's pitchers until he learns how to play the position.
